As the city transitions into it the winter scene of lights and frost, LH Rooftop at LondonHouse Chicago embraces the season with its annual transformation: Rudolph’s Rooftop Winter Igloos. Suspended high above the Chicago River, these private, heated igloos offer an intimate escape from the city’s bustle. Open from November 22, 2025, through January 31, 2026.
From this perch at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive, the rooftop provides an rare and memorable experience. With unobstructed views of the skyline, the Chicago River, and the Magnificent Mile, it’s a front-row seat to the city’s seasonal sparkle.
Each year, the rooftop is draped in twinkling lights, holiday décor, and just the right amount of nostalgia. Guests are welcome to admire the surroundings with a cocktail in hand, even if they haven’t booked an igloo. But if you’re looking for the full experience, with sips and incredible bites inside an igloo, then a reservation is a must.
Designed for up to six guests, each igloo is fully enclosed and heated, creating a snug setting ideal for date nights, festive gatherings, or seasonal splurges. Guests will pre-order from an exclusive holiday cocktail menu and à la carte food menu, with a $600 food and beverage minimum required per reservation.
